Inmy finalproject,I intendto layemphasison conflictresolutionas a hardnutto crackforthemanagementin an organization.By thevirtueof havingan arrayof employeesin a businessenvironmentwith differentcapabilitiesandqualifications,disagreementsare inevitable(Rahim, 2015).Managershaveto comein andcreatetheplatformon which contentiousissueswill be discussedwithout anybiasifthecohesiveness of theorganizationis to propagate.With theincreasedglobalization andmergers,theissuesthat resultin disagreementsare on therise(Nahavandi et al., 2015). Itis, therefore,becomingchallenging formostmanagersto customize waysof dealingwith thepressuring issues.

Differentsituationscallforvariousapplicationsof communicationskills.One of themostpopularformsof specializedcommunicationis persuasion.Itinvolvesseekingthesupportandtrustof theaudienceby theuseof convincingargumentsdevoidof doubtfulspots.Persuasivecommunicationhas rootsin credibilityandtrustworthiness.Peopleare morelikelyto listenandbelievein informationcomingfrom a qualifiedpersonin a particularfieldwhohas visiblecredentials. Theprofessionalnatureof thesourceborrowssupportfrom thetrustworthinessof themessagebeingpassedacross. Amessagebackedby evidencewill spurinterestand,therefore,has a significantimpact(Nahavandi et al., 2015).

Iintendto usethisformof communicationwhenintroducingnewchangesin theorganization.First,thecredentials andprofessionalism giveme an upperhandto commandtheattentionandtrustof theemployees.Secondly,I will resolveto juxtaposetheexpectedresultsof newmethodsof practicewith theexistingusingfiguresandvisualaidsto movetheemployeesto theworldof thenewapplication.In doingthis,theywill seetheessenceof initiatingthechangeforthegoodof their welfareandthesurvivalof theorganization.
