Scienceand human life

Scienceleadsneitherto meaningnortohappiness.Accordingto Weber, thismeansthatitis thepersonthoughtthatdeterminedhowmuchtheir lifeis appealing. In his book, hetalksaboutthebeliefsof Calvinism that continueto torturepeopleintoa depressionthat is self-imposed.Scienceis a wayto easethehealthproblemspeoplefacebutnot happinessitself. Happinessis entirelybroughtby someone mindbecauseof whattheybelievein.Calvinism theinitialreligiontaughtpeoplehowto self-condemn themselves andthatis whymostof them hadthisneuron induceddiseases(Weber, 2012).

Calvinismadvocatesforself-examination andperpetualeffortsin everything that peopledothiseventuallyleadsto self-loathing andunbearablepainespeciallywhensomeone doessomething theybelieveis not moral.Noamountof anyscientificinventeddrugscan everhealatthesediseases, andthatis whyPhineas Pankhurst Quimby a self-educated inventorandwatchmaker in Portland cameup with theideaof metaphysics. Hetaughtabout thescienceof lifeandhappinesswhich is implicitof Calvinism. Theteachingsare aboutthe positivethingto divertpeoplefrom their self-driven guiltwhichisperpetuatedthrough Calvinism. Itdoesnot divertpeoplefrom believingin God butenablesa personto understandthatGod is ubiquitousin his way.Itimprovesthespiritof thoughtsthusimprovingtheoverall healthof thepeople.Itshowsthelawof attraction.Peopletendto attractwhattheythinkabout.Someof thediseasessuchas menstrual crampsandindigestionare idlersdiseases(Weber, 2012).

Capitalismexistedbutin all thesecaseitisthe particularethos that waslacking.HemeanstheProtestantworkethic advocatedforcapitalismwithout peopleknowingwhatitwasactually.Itgaveriseto thespiritof capitalismCalvinism advocatedforhardworkin allaspectsof life.TheCalvinist believedthatsuccessin theworldmaterialsincreasedself-confidencethat wasan assuranceof God’s grace. In his bookhesaystimeis moneyandwhowespendtimedivertedawayfrom workto eitheridlenessorsomething elsewaslosinga greatdealof money(Weber, 2012).

Wasteof timewas, therefore, anexpenseandalsolostthegloryof God. Creditwasmoneytoo, andthusinterestwassupposedto be chargedonthepeopleitwasgivento. Peopleweresupposedto paytheir loanon duetime.Thiswastheoriginof capitalismin which peoplewerepersuadedin accumulatingwealthin orderto pleaseGod. Thecapitalismof todayis about thedominance of theeconomysurvivalforthefittest.Manufacturers, forexample, will motivatetheir workersin allwayspossiblesuchas rewardsin orderto increasetheir percentageoutput.Thiswillenablethem to outdotheir competitors.Afarmerwill increasethenumberof acreagestheyare plantinginorderto increasetheir totaloutput(Weber, 2012).

Meaningof anomie accordingto Durkheim is a statein which thebodyorgansrelationshipisnot regulatedbecausetheyare not linkedtogetherforsufficientcontact. There isa breakdownof thesocialcohesionsthat regulatethepeoplebehavior.Peopleare adjacentto eachotherandknowverywelltheyneedeachother, butthere is thedistancethat separatesthem. There is nocontactbetween individuals, andthustrialanderroris practicedwhiledealingwith issues.Everyindividualhas noguiding principleandthusdoeswhatever theyfeelappealingto them. Itis suicidalforthewholecommunitysince there is noanyregulation, andpeopleare proneto doextremesitleadsto peoplewhoare purposeless, emotionalemptinessanddespairandnonsenseof humility. There is nosenseof strivingsincetheno definitionof whatis required.

Inconclusion, ittakesan individualto be happyandnot thescientificinventionssuchas drugs.Thoughtsare thegreattreasuresandalsoour worstenemies.Peopleshould, therefore, learnto controltheir thoughtsfortheir happiness.Capitalismoriginis religionsince theyare theoneswhoactuallyindividuallygatheredwealthto pleaseGod andincreasetheir self-confidence.Anomie is toxicto thecommunity, andthuspeopleshould fightit.Peopleshould livetogethersothattheycan havea purposeforliving.
